Awkwafina

American actor and musician Awkwafina began her career with hilarious lyrics that tackled issues of sexuality and identity with a boldly comedic perspective before expanding her reach into Hollywood. Born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrants in Forest Hills Queens her first taste of musician life came with the trumpet. Classical, jazz and hip-hop education began when she grew up. In college, she studied writing and women's studies. She even spent some time learning Mandarin while in Beijing. The focus on music until after she graduated. The song My Vag, a response track to the Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity via the Internet in 2012. It would later be included in her first album Yellow Ranger released in 2014.
