Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress who is most well-known for her role as Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom" she has been gaining a lot of fame. Calvano is from California, and began her career in the sport of competitive gymnastics. She later chose to become an actor. Her first appearance on screen was in 2010, in the episode of CBS's NCIS. The biographical crime drama movie J Edgar was her big screen debut just a year later. Through the years, she firmly established herself among the top performers of the day. She was nominated in 2011 for an Young Artist Award in the category of Best Performance for Young Actresses 11-15 for her work on NCIS. In 2013 she was also nominated for yet another Young Artist Award for her performance as a guest in the Disney XD comedy series 'Kickin' It'. Calvano appeared in a number in the episodes "Mom" during its fourth season. She was a main role in the initial three seasons of the show. She was awarded the Gracie Allen Award in 2015 for Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star because of her character in the show 'Mom'.
